A story of a native american teen and his friend traveling to pheonix from an Indian reservation in Idaho to pick up his fathers ashes.

A teenager named Victor must travel to Phoenix, Arizona from his Indian reservation in Idaho to pick up his father’s ashes. He is accompanied by his friend, Thomas, who agrees to pay for the trip in exchange for accompanying Victor.
The film begins with a fire burning and Victor's father, Arnold, rescuing Thomas by catching him in the air because Thomas' parents threw him out the window to save him from the fire. This event haunts Arnold for the rest of his life because he was the one who started the fire, killing Thomas’ parents. Arnold cuts his hair and becomes an alcoholic. He later leaves Victor and his mother, Arlene, and moves to Phoenix, Arizona.
Years later Victor is now a teenager and so is Thomas. Victor’s mother, Arlene, receives a call from a lady claiming she is Arnold’s neighbor in Phoenix saying Arnold had passed away. Now Victor must travel to his father’s home in Phoenix to pick up his father’s ashes and pick-up truck. Since Victor cannot afford to go, Thomas offers to finance the trip as long as he can accompany Victor to Arizona from the Indian reservation. As they take off to Phoenix, it is their first trip in their lives off of the reservation. As the movie is taking place it keeps transitioning from present time to flashbacks from when Victor and Thomas were boys. This is important because it shows why they are the way they are in present time.
When they arrive to Phoenix they are greeted by a lady named Susie who is Arnold’s neighbor in Phoenix. She has Arnold’s ashes in a tin can. Victor doesn’t want to take the ashes so Thomas does. Susie offers them some food, and as they are eating she reminisces about Arnold to Victor and Thomas. The following morning Victor goes into his father’s trailer, cuts his hair, and leaves without telling Susie good-bye. As they are traveling back, they have a car accident and Victor runs to try to find help because a woman involved is seriously injured. When they are in the hospital Victor and Thomas find out that the man who caused the wreck is lying and says that it was Victor’s fault and that he was drunk driving. The police officer believes Victor and lets them go. They arrive back to the Indian reservation and Thomas and Victor return to their homes. The story ends with Victor with dumping his father’s ashes in the river, a metaphor for Victor forgiving his father and allowing him to move on with his life.
I give this movie a 7 out of 10 rating because it is interesting but also has its slow moments.
Slumdog Millionaire is an awfully dramatic movie with with a chain of highly unreal imaginary coincidences.

Very dramatic movie which starts with a riot.
Two little brothers and one little girl lost their parents
in that riot.
Elder brother becomes the bad guy and the younger one
is supernaturally lucky because when this 18 year old office boy in a call centre
gets an opportunity to play "Millionaire Game"; he knew the answers
to all the questions MERELY because every question is related to
one of the incidents that he has experienced in his life from childhood.
Moreover he got the right answer to the last question just by fluke.
It has a happy ending because the younger brother was able to
find his childhood love (the little girl who lost her parents in the riot)
who turned a prostitute.
A.R.Rehman had composed music for lots of songs which are a lot better
than "Jai Ho" song.
My respect for Oscars has reduced after realizing that it is only a puppet of
lobbyist
What could go wrong when a specialist plans to outsmart his own system and runaway rich and in love?

First things first, this is a very great movie. Although this movie is quite sinister, especially for the time that it was made, it is quite a good work of cinematography. This movie kept me wanting to know what would happen next through its duration. This movie kept me at “the edge of my seat” and I watched every second of this movie. The one thing though that did bother me, was the actual darkness of the picture, I guess I can really only blame the technology of the time, oh well.
The movie is about a guy named Walter. He is an insurance salesman. One day, he goes to the house of Mr. Dietrichson to try and get him to renew his automobile insurance. When Walter goes inside the house, he finds that Mr. Dietrichson isn’t there but his wife is. As soon as Walter laid eyes on Mrs. Dietrichson, he was in love with her. So in love, that he would not realize what he was doing through the entirety of the movie. Phyllis (Mrs. Dietrichson), asks Walter what he is at the house for and Walter tells her that he needs to speak to her husband about his automobile insurance. She eventually asks Walter about life insurance and immediately Walter knows that she wants her husband dead and just wants the money that comes from the insurance company when he dies “accidently”. At first, Walter does not give in but eventually does. Walter tries to talk Mr. Dietrichson a few days later about getting life insurance. He refuses to buy life insurance. Walter, being the scammer that he is, told Mr. Dietrichson to sign for the life insurance saying that it was automobile insurance papers. Mr. Dietrichson did not read the papers and just signed away. So now the trap was set and all Walter and Mrs. Dietrichson had to do was kill Mr. Dietrichson and make it look like an accident to get the money from the insurance company and then they could run off together. But they didn’t want to just get the normal sum of money, they wanted to get the double indemnity bonus from this insurance company. So they arranged for Mr. Dietrichson to “accidently” die in a manner that will give Walter and Mrs. Dietrichson double indemnity. Walter and Mrs. Dietrichson succeed in killing Mr. Dietrichson but were they able to make it seem like it was a total accident? That I cannot tell you for you have to watch the movie yourself and find out!
I would like to say that this movie is a must-see, especially for those who are huge fans of dramas. I would like to give this movie 8 stars out of 10. I never realized that I would like this movie so much, but it really struck my attention and I think it is a very enjoyable movie for most audiences. So go ahead, get this movie, pop some popcorn and get ready to have your eyes glued to the screen!
A lonely kid meets his bestfriend and they go on many aventures together.

The movie “The Mighty” isn’t the worst movie ever, but it isn’t too great either. The storyline didn’t go too slow or too fast. It got really boring after the first few minuets, because it was (Eldon Henson) being made fun of and laughed at on his way to school, very boring. Everything in the movie, like the actors, effects, and the set were all really nice, but what brought the movie down is that it was so boring. Nothing really exciting happened, nothing to keep you on the edge of your seat. The only action seen in the movie involved a squirt gun held by a handicap kid being tackled threw a window. This is a movie that you take your grandma to go see with you. Basically the movie went like this, you find out that (Eldon Henson) Max isn’t that smart, but he is a really big kid. Then he meets a really smart kid named (Kieron Culkin) Kevin. Kevin is handicap and he has a rare form of dwarfism. Max has the size and Kevin has the brains, so they become friends. When I was watching this movie I about fell asleep. I would not recommend you waist your money on this movie.
teenagers with all kinds of family issues that just keep getting worse.

The movie, The mighty was an outstanding film when it came to drama, familyissues, and a crazy life for a teenagers to live. "The mighty" is a suspenseful, dramatic, comedy where to teenagers become one whole person in mind in body. They became bestfriends with alot of obsticales in their life and friendship. kevin dillon{kieran culkin}played a crippled teenage boy who loved books and inventing things. Maxwell cane {Elden henson} played a teenage boy had major family starting when he was three years old when his mother was murdered in cold blood. Both actors were great in the movie they had the looks the attitude and the voice tht fit the scrpt just right.I personaly would give this movie a thumbs up but iys nothing to go go blowin money on.
