Perfect Stranger

The film makes you root for the wrong person, and in the end, the bad guy wins. Bad guys are not suppose to win, at least not in the movies. This is why, I didn't really like the ending of this film, don't get me wrong I love surprises, but to let the character get away with everything, that is not the way I would go.
When you watch a film, especially a crime drama like this one, the story is centered around the match up of good versus evil. Good always wins, because as much as you like watching these violent movies, you look forward to the Good victory. This movie was heading into that direction, until the horrible twist at the end.
Now as far as the movie goes, it is about a reporter Rowena Price (Halle Berry), who is trying to solve her friend Grace's ( Nicki Aycox) death. Before her death, Grace met up with Price, where she told her about the affair she was having.
Grace was having an affair with advertising giant Harrison Hill (Bruce Willis), and she was planning on telling Hill's wife about it. Grace was found dead, apparently she was poisoned with some sort of specialized eye solution.
Price along with her friend Miles Haley (Giovanni Ribisi) begin to build a case against Hill. With what Grace told Price, they use that as motive. Also Hill's wife has access to the same poison that was used in Grace's murder.
With all this information, Price and Haley pin the murder on Hill, and he is found guilty. End of story right, bad guy loses and good guy wins. Wrong it turns out Hill didn't even commit the murder, Price and Haley framed him.
So who did, was it Price, Haley, or did it even happen, well I guess you are just going to have to watch the movie and find out. Whoever did it gets away with it, and that is why I giving this film 3 stars out of 5.
