The Simpsons, what always happens for twenty years
Ok if you are a Simpsons fan i would suggest not reading this blog/review/hate mongring.
I was pretty biased goin into the movie cuz I hate the Simpsons. i will get to that in a minute. the good thing was i didnt have to pay for it. the most humorus part of the night was the ad before the movie for Garry Swallows and in the bottom where it said "Quality Service" but the laughin stopped for me after the movie started. as for why i dont like the simpsons here it goes
so i get the question all the time and i understand why they ask it. my reason is that i believed it was bland and unoriginal. all the jokes were pretty much homer doin somethin dumb and choking part. lisa is a little hippie bitch and marg is annoying. i stopped watchin the simpsons around 1995-1996 when i discovered something much better that i can describe in two words...South Park. that show was completely original with each and every episode and to this day is the same. i have seen every episode of it and own almost all of the seasons. south park is just so much more funny than the simpsons. and no offense but if you still are conforming and are sayin that the simpsons are the best comedy on television you are stuck in 1995. then family guy came around and took even more steam from them. so i think this movie is about ten years too late. and all the hard core simpsons fans are always complaining that it has not been very good sense the 8th season so i have one question...WHY THE HELL DO YOU STILL WATCH IT? if it isnt good why do you still watch it? you are the reason that it is rottin on the air. south park takes 5 days to make per episode. simpsons takes hundreds of thousands of dollars and a month for one episode. its rediculous. so anyway back to the movie
so as i was garry swallows. the audience was burstin out laughing at some of the parts which to me it seemed like they had the sense of humor of a four year old. i swear to god and tony was my witness i did not laugh one god damn time during that movie. i literally yawned the whole time as i struggled not to fall asleep. so there isnt much to review. just not funny
what i would suggest instead of spending 7.50 to see this piece of shit. take that money and go and buy south park:bigger, longer, and uncut on dvd. its a much better movie.
