Solomon Kane
the reaper uses a flame sword instead of a scythe.
From the start, a great deal of time was spent on saying how Kan stopped killing and he had no swords but he manages to draw a pair of GUNS while horse riding. WTF
He was pushed down to a chamber with transformed zombies that eat human and they stood over him and watched for a long while when he was down and waited till he attacked then did they react.
There is zero climax or surprises in the entire film.
he went to a casstle to resue a girl with his group, while the castle floods with "zombies", he heads down to a chamer full of prisoners and opened the gates and said : you're free, as they ran away ( to the zombies above them to be killed obviously )
He said he knew the castle well, so he used a trap door instead of going in from the front gate, guess what, the exit is in the middle of a training field or something and surprisingly. NO ENERMIES WERE THERE, then quickly they were surronded by zombies after encoutering a witch. It literally took them 3 seconds to get to kane.
He found his farther in the chamber locked up, and his dad requested that kane kill him with the gun because " so long as he lives, Malachi ( the final boss ) wont die " or something similar. There was no information given on that part and it so went unexplained, wasting 5 minutes.
He went to the last room and tried to opened the huge double doors. They were locked and a few seconds later, like TWENTY enermies were behind him, he prepares to fight but the gate opens and he proceeds. WTF was the point of that - -
This is the really funny part:
The mage puts the girl in a cage, he lures kane in and try to kill him with his "commander" after revealing nothing ( he coulda killed him EASILY with 20 zombies when the door was shut if you had seen how bad kane is dealing muitiple enermies at once ) He hides and try to summon a giant lava demon which requires the girl's blood, and he grabs her and cut her hand for the blood ( again, he locks her first, then wait for kane and grab her to summon the giant, its a nice risk considering how weak the mage is. And he is indeed very very very weak, he turned him self to dust and that was it. When kane aim at the mage's head, the mage tries to stab the girl ?!?!??!?!??!?!, off course the mage fails and kane hits.
Kane enters the door and then the door seals behind him, at one point, he went up to the cage holding the girl and before he attempt to break the lock on it, the girl says, stop, its a trap. He then opens it, WOW surprisingly no trap happened. at least not any logical ones. There was no crashing walls or trap floor which would be logical for that situation.
