The Happening
The first time I saw the trailer, I thought the film would be pritty good. I also was glad to see that M. Night was directing the film, because I loved The Sixth Sense and Signs. When it became closer and closer to June 13, I got less and less exited about the film. I also was surprised that the film had recived an R rating, because M. Night had never made an R rated film before. I went to go see on my birthday, June 13, opening day. I thought the film was decent. Not as good as The Sixth Sense or Signs, but above my expectations. Even though the film was very gory, and violent at times, I thought it had strong acting and a very thrilling story. If you just hate thrillers and can't stand gore, don't see this film! If you don't mind very gory images and enjoy thrillers, go see the film, you'll probably like it. Also, if you liked other M. Night films, you probably will like this film too. Overall, this was a good movie.
